Overcoming Adversity

I've heard of overcoming small challenges and whatnot, but what do you do when you're a swimmer and lose both of your arms? You compete in the 50M Butterfly, obviously.

Not only does this guy keep entering in swim meets without any arms, he wins...

Just watch.

Swimmer with no arms beats regular swimmers, wait what?

Slopeside

This has been one of the best winters in recent history, and it's not even half way over! It just keeps snowing, so go get your tracks, because we haven't seen snow like this for a few years...

Dedication - Skate Allegiance

I could almost hear this guy muttering the mantra when I took this picture.

"I pledge allegiance to the skate, and the skate park which I shred..."

This guy really likes skating.

Street Music

In the movie "Searching for Bobby Fischer" the little kid learns the game of chess by watching a bunch of drug addicts play in the park in New York. The movie sort of glamorized the whole chess freak that sleeps in the park thing, and I kind of want to check it out. Also, I've heard tales of musicians performing on the street, and how it can be pretty phenomenal at times. I came across this video and it has me pretty much convinced.

I kinda want to go find these guys. Anyone up for a trip to NY?
